Software is engineered for use in communications, commerce, manufacturing, entertainment, medicine, construction, etc. The university's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering houses a Software Engineering research area that focuses specifically on engineering lifecycle techniques and tools for software systems. Our research addresses analyzing, designing, building, testing, maintaining, and evolving complex software systems. We are looking for the brightest students to invent, explore, and revolutionize how we engineer and use software systems.
